[COVID-19] DELHI HC DIRECTS GOVT TO CONSIDER AS REPRESENTATION PETITIONS TO CAP HOSPITAL FEES


In the case The Delhi High Court today guided the Delhi Government to consider as portrayal petitions concerning different issues in the human services segment because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Division Bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Prateek Jalan was hearing a few petitions provoking the Delhi Government's choice to avoid asymptomatic direct contacts of affirmed cases from COVID-19 testing.

In any case, considering the request passed by the Lt-Gov Anil Baijal in his ability as Chairperson of Delhi Disaster Management Authority, permitting the testing of asymptomatic direct contacts of affirmed cases, the test had become infructuous and the Petitioners decided not to squeeze it any further.

The Court in any case guided the Delhi Government to consider different supplications and complaints brought up in the petitions. The Court guided the Delhi Government to think about the petitions as a portrayal and choose them as quickly as time permits.
